Biography:
My name is Van Merchant Clements. I have been apart of the Jemison community my entire life. I attended Elementary, Middle and High School at Jemison. I am married to the love of my life, Kristin Benson Clements. We have two children, Kenzie & Natalie.
All my family are/were teachers: My mother taught Speech for 38 years, and my father taught PE and was the first principal at Jemison Middle School (28 yrs). My oldest brother is the Head Football coach at Springville High School. My twin sister is a elementary teacher at Charles Henderson. Finally, my little brother is a coach at Tuscaloosa County High School. In addition, my wife is a Kindergarten teacher at Jemison Elementary. Education is our family business!
